GMA News is looking for young, internet-savvy journalists to manage its social media properties.

Duties include:

• Pushing news content on GMA News' Twitter, Facebook, and other social media accounts
• Monitoring breaking news on social media and pitching them to TV news desk and GMA News Online
• Monitoring and analyzing data and crafting strategies for GMA News' social media properties
• Assisting GMA News and Public Affairs personalities in managing their social media presence
• Maintaining an editorial calendar

Qualifications:

• Excellent writing skills in English and Filipino
• Experience in news gathering and news writing
• Familiar with the latest trends in online journalism, social media, and user-generated content
• Team player and a people person
• Willing to work on a regular schedule and do the graveyard shift at the GMA Network Center in Quezon City
• Believes in "Think before you click"
